Finding the Wedding Dress Sizing Chart at Davids Bridal
-Click on Bridal Gowns to go to the wedding dress section
-Click on one of the subsections on the left hand menu such as David’s Bridal Collection
-Click on the link to see their selection of dresses
-Click on a few dresses until you find one that is available online and in stores
-Click where it says ‘Shipping & Returns’
A box will pop up with different tabs including a fit guide, size chart and one for how to measure. Here you will get all the information necessary to find a size that will work for you.
The fit guide goes through some of the styles of dresses and how they tend to fit differently than others. This is a unique feature which is very helpful in finding a good fit. Some of the bridal dress styles described are: A-line, Slip Dress, Ball gown, Mermaid/Trumpet, Tea length and Empire.
The sizing chart is detailed and helpful in laying out the measurement guidelines for each size. The measuring tips are very useful for those not familiar with how to measure different areas of the body.
Some of Davids wedding dresses are not available online, so read carefully before getting too excited about buying a particular style online. To see whether there is availability for a certain style, go to the dress’s page, and if you see an exclamation mark next to the words: “This item is available in stores only”, you’re out of luck. However the same exclamation mark is used to denote that a dress is available both online and in-store, so be sure to read the words and not just look at the symbol.
We’re not sure why the sizing chart at David’s Bridal website is so cryptic to find. The information is essential for women to successfully purchase a wedding dress online. Although once you’ve discovered it you’ll have everything you need at your fingertips to help you measure and fit your figure.
